Marine Aquarium Test Strips: The kit includes a starter set of pre-configured test strips specifically designed for saltwater aquariums. These typically measure:

• pH: Measures the acidity or alkalinity of your saltwater aquarium water, impacting various biological processes and the health of marine organisms.
• Chlorine: Tests for the presence of free chlorine, a disinfectant sometimes used in aquariums, but requiring close monitoring to avoid harm to sensitive creatures.
• Total Chlorine: Measures the total amount of chlorine, including free and combined chlorine, crucial for ensuring its complete removal from tap water used for saltwater aquariums.
• Total Alkalinity: Indicates the buffering capacity of your aquarium water, which helps maintain a stable pH level.
