While each ionizer comes with an onboard carbon filter, no ionizer addresses all contaminants that may be found in your tap water, hence the need for a quality prefilter. We don't recommend purchasing a water ionizer without a pre-filter because any contaminants that make their way into your tap water will be driven deeper into your cells. This package has you covered--your water will be properly filtered before entering the water ionizer, resulting in fresh, clean, ionized alkaline drinking water.
Unlike Reverse Osmosis (R/O) filters, our C3 Pre-Filter uses a direct filtering process to produce healthy drinking water that still contains alkaline minerals, and does not waste gallons of water at a time.
